In 2022, four passionate, multi-published writers came together to talk about their shared love of words, and what a thrill it is to turn something as awesome-sauce as making up love stories into a full-time living.
Out of that chat the How to Write Academy was born, and with our first How to Write Love foundation course selling out in twenty-four hours, it has been a whirlwind ever since.
In 2024, How to Self-Publish & Sell was added to the Academy's offerings - a course designed to give confidence to those writers looking to publish their books themselves.
Since then...
The team has added
- Author COACHING and MENTORSHIP
- MANUSCRIPT ASSESSMENTS
- the free HOW TO WRITE LOTS productivity hub
- HOW TO WATCH MOVIES LIKE A WRITER YouTube channel & Podcast
As well as creating a flourishing Alumni community, with team support, in person meets up and fun merch!
To say we have been blown away by the feedback from course alumni - with comments ranging from "inspiring" to "best romance writing course I've ever taken" to "I would not be where I am without the fab four" - is an understatement. Our brand of positive productivity has hit the mark in a big way.
Finding ourselves THE romance writing course romance publishers are recommending to aspiring and newly published writers is beyond even our pretty-vivid dreams.
So if you're keen to supercharge your writing and career, we're the team to help you do it (and we can't wait!)
